Jeremy joined us at Zin early in 2017, quickly making the most dramatic changes the restaurant has seen since opening in April 2014.
A more refined and elegant food style than the rustic core of Kim’s food but retaining the same principles of cooking from scratch, utilising the ever expanding organic/biodynamic restaurant gardens and celebrating the region in which we live and grow.
Jeremy was previously at Cottage Point Inn and in 2016 was runner up as San Pellegrino Australasian Young Chef of the Year. Growing up in the industry he was influenced primarily by his Grandmother before as a 15 year old cooking at Restaurant Boulaye then trained with two Michelin star chef Jean Bardet at Le Chateau Belmont in Loire Valley.
As Head Chef, Jeremy is determined to rise to the challenges and privilege of a garden at his kitchen doorstep and to make people happy as a result of his pursuit of excellence.
Jeremy is happiest cooking, painting (look out for a forthcoming Mudgee exhibition) and spending time in nature.
